All OCDSB school websites are on a School Messenger Intrado platform. This system offers all the tools needed to create, edit and maintain accessible content on their sites.
There is a tab on each school’s site dedicated to School Council; the school Principal may contact Website Support to request editing access for School Council to edit only their pages.
The OCDSB School Council web pages:
- have consistent information and visuals as the school website
- have no hosting fees or advertising
- meet AODA accessibility requirements
- provide continuity when there is a change in School Council executive
- include a generic OCDSB email that can be used year-after-year
- have training and support provided by our Technology Department
