On January 31st, the District will be migrating to a new website platform hosted by Rally.
This new platform will provide the District with opportunities to communicate with our community in new and innovative ways. The platform is also more user friendly and easier to learn. Over the past 9 months, Business and Learning Technologies (BLT) and Communications has been working with the vendor to migrate the content of the District and school websites over to the new platform.
Training
In order to prepare school staff for the new platform, the vendor is offering training for staff responsible for updating the school website. The two training dates will be January 24th and January 30th. Training will be virtual through Google Meet and will be approximately 3 hours in length. Staff will have a choice of a morning (9:00 - 12:00) or afternoon (1:00 - 4:00) time slot. It is important that staff sign up in advance so the vendor can provide them with access to their school site.
All training sessions will be recorded so that participants can review the content again. If you miss your session the recorded session will be made available to you. Even if you cannot attend a session we ask that you sign up so that you will be provided with access to your site and access to the recording. Business and Learning Technologies will also provide support to any staff member who requires it once we go live with the new sites.
